James Ogle of Northampton Borough Council says....
'Northampton Borough Council Officers have been delighted with the approach adopted by Hags Play from design through installation and post completion aftercare. Hags Play have completed a number of differing types of projects in Northampton over the last few years in regards to play development. From the exemplar project at Victoria Park in 2008 to more recent projects completed over the last few months, which have included projects in one of our Premier Parks - Abington Park and some of our Neighbourhood Parks. Which has included refurbishing and creating more exciting play opportunities at Ladybridge Playing Fields through to creating a more Natural Play experience at Dallington Park. Hags have an impressive track record in Northampton and think through their design and bidding processes. Officers work closely with the subcontractors who share an understanding of the needs of our specific needs.
Throughout the construction processes the Council has been impressed with the quality of construction and installation and the tidiness of the contractors. As with any design, modifications and alterations have been considered to help enhance the scheme and these have been discussed constructively and have been taken on board willingly. Throughout recent years we have engaged Hags Play for projects on a number of occasions and have found the communication with Officers and the community has been secound to none.
Therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending Hags Play in preparing designs and installing play equipment and would welcome prospective clients for play sites to come to Abington Park, Victoria Park or Ladybridge Playing Fields in Northampton to see what can be delivered when there is a shared sense of ownership in wanting to deliver quality facilities for communities.'
