The exciting and spacious area has lots of natural features to satisfy the most adventurous of youngsters, including a spider’s web to climb on, stepping stones, bridges and basket swings. Plus there is even what appears to be the fossilised remains of a dinosaur skeleton!
Councillor Sam Love, who cut the official ribbon opening the park, said: 'It's great to have such a big play facility in Belhaven Park to go along side the other park improvements of recent years. It is thanks to an extra £50,000 from WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited), that has enabled a play facility of this size. It's just what the children and families of Wishaw needed.'
